Company Background
Laird Recruitment was established in early 2002.
Then, as now, all members of the team believe
in achieving long-term company growth and profitability,
by focusing on building a reputation for an honest
and ethical approach to recruiting, one sector,
one client and one candidate at a time.
Initially specialising in Media Sales, as this
was the core experience of the company team. Laird
Recruitment successfully placed candidates immediately
with some established names in the publishing
and exhibition sales sector, and started to build
a successful new name in the market.
In late 2002, Laird began placing candidates
in the waste services and wider environmental
sector. 2003 saw an increase in staff levels,
and a doubling of the previous years revenue.
We also placed our first junior brokers in the
financial services market.
2004 held 80% revenue growth and a steady increase
in key clients within each sector.
In 2005, we consolidated our position within the
media / advertising sales sector, and employed
some key staff for future growth. Laird Recruitment
also re-located head offices to Chiswick, West
London, and invested in state of the art back-office
systems.
2006-2007 has seen a major re-branding, with
investment in new advertising routes to gain the
best candidates in the market, and keep our competitive
advantage.
